This Mother’s Day, join us as we consider the remarkable story of Jochebed — the mother of Moses — a woman whose quiet faith helped shape the future of God’s people. Her name means “God is Glory,” a reminder that her life, motherhood, and calling were all connected to the glory of God.

In a season of fear, uncertainty, and impossible choices, Jochebed courageously protected the child God had entrusted to her. What may have looked like a simple act of a mother’s love became part of God’s great plan of deliverance. Her story reminds us that faithfulness to our calling — especially in the hidden and difficult moments — can have eternal impact.
