Sermon series
This Sunday we begin a new three-part sermon series exploring one of the most important and life-giving principles in all of Scripture. Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” and His words are far more than a sentimental platitude or a motivational slogan. They point to a fundamental truth about the kind of life God blesses and the kind of heart God seeks to form within us.
Throughout Scripture, giving is connected to joy, trust, worship, freedom, and spiritual maturity. In this series, we'll be reminded that it is "giving" that builds the life we can be "living."
This week, we'll see that stewardship is the true foundation of biblical generosity. In 1 Chronicles 29:6–19 King David reminds us that everything we possess ultimately belongs to God, and that acknowledging Him changes the way we view our resources, our priorities, and our lives. This message will challenge us to move from an ownership mindset to a stewardship mindset marked by humility, worship, and impact. Best of all - scripture abounds with promised blessings for those who respond! I hope you'll join us Sunday for "Giving For Living 1: Stewardship: The Heart of Giving." See you Sunday!

Our Kitchen has been scrubbed down and cleaned. This took hours! Thank you to Patti and Steve Buckley, Kathleen Kocot, Kathy Beyel, Barbara Cannon, and Loretta Kelly for their hard work in helping clean the kitchen. We ask that food be wrapped tightly, not left out, and everything be put into the storage bins after use. Please clean up the crumbs! We have rodents and need to be vigilant about keeping the kitchen clean!
