The View 10/21/2026

Sermon series

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Your kingdom come,” He was inviting them into something far greater than asking God to make life better. He was teaching them to welcome God's reign into their lives.

Often we approach God with things we want Him to change- our circumstances, relationships, and problems. And God welcomes those requests! But Jesus teaches us to ask for something even greater: that God's kingdom would come. That His transforming power would be evident in our lives and in our world.

We'll consider why approaching God means more than asking Him to change what's happening around us. It means allowing Him to change what's happening within us.  I hope you'll join us for "APPROACH Part 3: Your Kingdom Come." See you Sunday!

Whats Going On At VVC?

Life is better together!
At Valley View Chapel, our Small Groups are a place to build meaningful friendships, grow deeper in your faith, and encourage one another through every season of life. Whether you're new to church or have been attending for years, there's a group where you can connect, study God's Word, pray together, and do life with others.
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you-
unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life.
However, the enemy fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion.
The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

Genesis isn’t just an ancient history lesson- it is the ultimate story of beginnings.
It’s where we find the foundational truths of who God is and who we are to Him. Whether you joined us last Spring or are coming for the very first time, we would love for you to join us as we pick back up in our study on the Book of Genesis!

We are jumping right into Chapter 11, which serves as a major turning point in the Bible-moving from the global history of the Tower of Babel right into the personal, intimate story of Abraham and his family.  The Precept Workbook is required.
