We'd love to meet you.

Valley View Chapel is committed to ENJOYING the grace of God that is ours through Jesus' love and sacrifice, SHARING that same grace and love with others, and INVESTING our lives, talents, passions and resources in our community so that the great news of Jesus goes far and wide to bring God's ways into our world.

If you're visiting for the first time, we'd like to meet you and give you a gift bag, but we won't make you stand up, wave, or do anything weird. We're just glad to see you and welcome you. We're pretty sure you'll laugh more than you might in other churches, because although we're serious about Jesus, we don't take ourselves too seriously. Actually, we think people who know Jesus should be the most fun to be around! (Oh, and we NEVER ask or expect visitors to put money in the offering at the end of the gathering! Your presence is your gift to us.)

Where are you located?

We are located at 115 E. Mill Road (Route 24) in Long Valley, directly across from Ort Farm, approximately 3.4 miles west of US 206 in Chester.

Where do I park and where do I go?

When you arrive at our chapel, you will see signs directing you to our Main Entrance (in the Family Life Center), which is on the far side of the building away from the street. You will find a special section of parking spaces that have been reserved for our guests. These spaces are located close to provide easy access to our entrances.

You'll notice the newer tan section of our building--the Family Life Center--with green gabled double doors. That is our main entrance. This is where our services are held, as well as many other events. Our church offices, Kid Zone, and Youth Center are located in the older white section of our building, but are accessible through the main entrance.

Child Check-In

Visit us at the welcome desk in the front lobby. We'd love to greet you and help you get your children safely checked in before the service. Safety is a priority for us, so all of our childcare workers are background-checked and safety-trained. We currently have the following rooms available:

  • Nursery, located across from the sanctuary, for children under 3 years old.
  • KidZone, located in lower level room LL-111, for children 3 (by October 1, 2019)-4 years old
  • Powerhouse, located in lower level rooms, for children Kindergarten through 5th grade.
    • Powerhouse kids will be escorted to their rooms before the Pastor's message for age appropriate lessons and activities.

What do I wear?

Dress comfortably. On a Sunday morning at Valley View, you'll find anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. We care more about meeting you than about what you'll wear.

You will find accessible parking on both the northern (street side) and southern (far side) of our chapel. The northern side parking (turn right directly after entering the parking lot) provides a ramped entrance. The southern side parking is accessible by crossing the bridge into our church offices. Once inside, turn left, and you will find an elevator at the end of the hallway. Please note that the office door is locked after a service has started, but the main entrances on both sides of the building will remain open.
