Andrew Brackmann

Andrew grew up in Long Valley and returned to the Valley View family in 2011 after several years in youth ministry in Michigan. He enjoys building relationships with those in the area through his many endeavors. From coaching youth sports in town for his kids, to running countless miles for his own training, to meeting new faces as a project manager for a general contractor, Andrew's mission is to live out the truth, power, and love of Jesus so that others can follow Him into God's family. Andrew served VVC as youth pastor for seven years, as associate pastor for discipleship for four years, and now serves bivocationally as our Community Pastor. His job is to expand the ministry of VVC beyond its walls to those who may never come to a church building but still need a relationship with Jesus.

Joshua Mannix

Joshua has worked in youth ministry since 2006 and is very excited to be part of the family and pastoral staff at Valley View. He is a graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University, having studied Human Services and Bible. In addition to his years spent working in student ministries, Joshua has also spent many years working in the social service field advocating for youth involved in the legal system as well as advocating and supporting individuals with intellectural and developmental disabilities. He is joined at the church by his three beautiful daughters. Joshua and his girls love spending time outside exploring the woods with their dog or snuggling on the couch watching a sci-fi movie with a giant cup of coffee in hand. Joshua has a real passion for bringing the message of Jesus' love and truth to teens. He found the same love himself at 13 in a youth group in Mendham, NJ. There is such a small window of opportunity for teens to find their niche, and Pastor Joshua is very excited to help them discover God's loving embrace.

Emily Brackmann

Emily serves in children's ministries to share the love and reality of Jesus with kids and their families. She loves to see people of all ages make connections as they take steps to grow in faith. She believes we never "graduate" from the gospel (i.e. get too knowledgeable, old, etc.) for the simple truth and news. God the Father calls us all to be like children and come to Him over and over again in humble faith.

Emily was born and raised in Michigan where she came to know and trust Jesus as a young girl. She traveled east to go to Nyack College, where she earned degrees in childhood education and inclusive education. She also met her husband, Andrew, at Nyack, and they now have four active kids. Together, they make the "Brack Pack." She enjoys quiet morning hours, long walks, trying new foods, family fires, and playing games with family and friends.
